Privacy Policy
Website consultation inquiries
When you submit the business services form, SteadyLife, LLC receives your name, email, business name, and the project details and availability you choose to provide. We use this information to respond, arrange your consultation, and discuss potential work.
The form is processed and stored through our website hosting provider, Netlify. Consultation requests do not subscribe you to our newsletter. Please do not submit passwords or sensitive customer information. You can contact support@steadylife.app to ask about or request deletion of your inquiry.
This Privacy Policy applies to all SteadyLife apps, including SipSteady, SmokeSteady, SpendSteady, WishJar, and Beneath. These apps are developed by SteadyLife LLC. Our philosophy is simple: your data belongs to you, stays on your device, and exists only to help you understand your own habits.
What data we collect
SteadyLife apps only collect data that you explicitly enter, such as:
- the drinks you log (SipSteady)
- cigarettes or nicotine use (SmokeSteady)
- spending habits you choose to track (SpendSteady)
- tasks, rewards and wishes for your children (WishJar)
- your Truths and Wins (Beneath — see its own policy below)
No app collects your location, contacts, browsing data, device identifiers, or analytics that track you across apps or websites.
Where your data is stored
Your data is stored locally on your device using Apple’s secure storage systems. Syncing with Apple Watch uses Apple’s encrypted communication channels.
With one exception, SteadyLife does not operate a cloud server and does not receive, store, or view your entries. The exception is WishJar, which syncs between family members’ devices and therefore stores family data in a secure cloud database — see the WishJar Privacy Policy.
How your data is used
Your data is only used to:
- track habit trends over time
- generate insights within the app
- sync entries between your iPhone and Apple Watch
Your data is never sold, shared, or used for advertising.
WishJar – parent & child privacy
WishJar (formerly SteadyKid) is a parent-controlled, multi-device experience: parents and kids use their own devices, so family data syncs through a secure cloud database rather than staying on one phone. Children never create accounts, and everything a child does in the app is visible to their parents.

Beneath
Beneath, our journaling app, keeps an account so your writing syncs across devices, and its Reflect, Try This, Recaps and Letters features send your own entries to an AI model only when you ask. It has its own policy: Beneath Privacy Policy.
Third-party services
The only third-party systems involved are Apple services (App Store, iCloud Backup if enabled, WatchConnectivity). SteadyLife does not integrate trackers, analytics SDKs, or advertising networks.
Your rights
You may at any time:
- delete your entries individually within each app
- delete all app data by deleting the app from your device
- disable iCloud backups if you prefer data to remain only on-device
